Closing a Job Post

Requires 'Change Job Status' permission

Closing a job post

  1. Click the three dots menu besides the Job Title drawing
  2. Click the Change Job Status option. drawing
  3. Select new job post status Closed or On Hold.
  4. Select a Closing Reason if you are closing the job. drawing
  5. Click the Close Job or Put Job on Hold button.

Manage job post ‘Close Reason’ options

Requires 'Manager', 'Recruiter', or 'HR associate' role to add new options You can create new ‘Close Reasons’ to categorise closed jobs

  1. Navigate to Settings > Job Publication > Job Closing Reasons
  2. Click Create New+ button.
  3. Type the reason into the text area.
  4. Click Save & Exit button.

Manage job post ‘Status’ options

Requires 'Manage System Settings' permission You can create new ‘Status’ to categorise all jobs

  1. Navigate to Settings > Job Publication > Job Status
  2. Click Add A New Status+ button.
  3. Type the new status into the text area.
  4. Click the Save button.

Who all are notified?

A system generated email outlining the changes made to the job post is sent to:

  1. Recruiters/Vendors and other users who are assigned to this job post.
  2. Emails marked under Job notification label inside the job post.
  3. Stakeholder emails mentioned under ‘Settings > System Notifications > Job Post Updated’
